African-Russian Energy Association (AREA)
Establishment of conditions aimed at the development and implementation of energy projects between Russian and African companies;

Ensuring access to cheap energy in African countries in order to boost economic growth and improve the quality of life;

Development of international trade between Russia and African countries in the energy sector, including the export and import of related equipment and technologies;

Creation of a platform for dissemination of information about the Russian-African international energy cooperation in the international mass media and the expert community;

Fighting the neocolonization practices in African states carrying out by the Western countries.
Goals and objectives
The purpose is to develop joint energy projects between the Russian Federation and African countries
Main tasks:
Search, drafting, analysis, assessment of an economic potential of energy projects as well as their launch and control of implementation.
Organization of forums, round tables and business missions aimed at cooperation in the energy sector.
Cooperation with government agencies and energy companies in African countries and Russia.
Development of the biliteral and multilateral energy treaties and strategies.
Elaboration and implementation of the investment attraction programs, staff recruitment and transfer of technologies in the energy sector in African countries from Russia.

George Sebulela (South Africa) is currently the President and Chief Executive of Sebvest Group, Founder and President of SAUBC and African United Business Confederation. He was the Head of Government, Empowerment and Public Infrastructure Finance for ABSA Capital.
